Served in Vietnam with Charlie Company 1st Btn. 5th Marines, 1st Marine Div. 1968. Spent his 20th Birthday as a Medi-E-Vaced patient on the Hospital Ship the USS Sanctuary. He Wrote and Published his own first book of Prose called " A Common Book of Verse by A Very Common Man ".
Former President of "The Vietnam Combat Veterans Combined Armed Forces Association of Worcester Ma. " A Non Profit organization Founded in Worcester Ma., by local area veterans including himself and several others of Worcester and surrounding towns in 1980. Dedicated to the aid and betterment of any and all Veterans of Massachusetts and these United States of America. Traveled extensively through out the United States and Canada including Alaska,writting and sharing his experiences, stories and prose, via a varied number of Harley Davidson Motorcycles, over the past 40 something years of his life. A political activist for all veterans and citizens. A creative writer,poet,lecturer and self taught teacher. Encouraging young and old to write and show the world what they see,through their eyes and their stories. Former Trainman and Locomotive Engineer with the Boston and Maine Railroad and retiree of the same,1970-2003.
