How is sisal generally pronounced in English? It looks like a short i, sis-al but perhaps its see-sal, closer to a Spanish pronunciation than typical English? Cuvtixo 14:19, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
I ran into this page today while doing some research and noticed it's a little messy. I don't have time to go through it now, so I added the Cleanup header. Alexiskatherine (talk) 15:58, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Production
I have little to no knowledge about sisal, but I fixed some of the language on this page. It still needs more before I feel I can remove the Cleanup tag. Could someone with some knowledge about sisal go into more depth as to its production process? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.93.215.225 (talk) 04:35, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
"resonated sisal"?
The article includes the sentence
Products made from sisal are being developed rapidly, such as furniture and wall tiles made of resonated sisal.
Surely that should be "resinated sisal"? --Dan Griscom (talk) 10:16, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Sisal scheme
Should be something on the great Brazilian sisal scheme semi-fiasco of ca. the late 1950s... AnonMoos (talk) 19:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
