Summary

Fatty acid synthase (FAS) revised model with positions of polypeptides, three catalytic domains and their corresponding reactions, designed and produced by Kosi Gramatikoff user:kosigrim. Two of the reactions shown are wrong. Malonyl/Acetyl transferase should convert malonyl CoA to malonyl ACP. Thioesterase should convert palmitoyl ACP to palmitic acid.
