Dr. George L. Hanbury II is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Nova Southeastern University. Previously, he has served as the City Manager of the following cities: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Portsmouth, Virginia, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Hanbury received his Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Virginia Tech, and a master's degree in the same field from Old Dominion University. He received his doctorate in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. [1]
