Espanola High School is located in the town of Espanola, Ontario, approximately 70km from downtown Greater Sudbury. The school features the Domtar computer lab[3], and a podcast radio station studio[4] Spartan Youth Radio can be listened to over the airwaves or on the internet via iTunes. 40 high school students assemble, edit and transmit the content. [5] Charlene Camillo who attended Espanola High School won the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students.[6] Espanola various jazz bands did very well in the MusicFest Canada 2006 Festival Instrumental Jazz Division Competition.[7]
